What are Skin boosters?

Skin boosters are a type of cosmetic injectable treatment designed to improve the texture, hydration, and overall appearance of the skin. They are typically made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps to keep the skin hydrated and plump.

Skin boosters are injected into the skin  and work by adding moisture and volume to the treated area. This can help to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging, as well as enhance overall skin quality and radiance.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which are often used to restore volume to specific areas of the face, skin boosters are typically used to treat larger areas of the face, such as the cheeks, under the eyes, or the neck and décolletage.

Skin boosters are a popular treatment option for those looking to improve the overall appearance of their skin without undergoing more invasive procedures such as facelifts or laser resurfacing. They are also a popular choice for younger patients looking to maintain their skin's hydration and vitality over time.

Common types of skin boosters

Hyaluronic acid (HA) : These are the most common type of skin booster and are made from a naturally occurring substance in the               body that helps to keep the skin hydrated and plump.

Products: Profhilo, Seventy Hyal 2000, Jalupro Hydro

Mesotherapeutic cocktail : Cocktails consist of hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, anti-oxidants, minerals, and other nutrients                that are injected directly into the skin to nourish  and revitalize the skin.

        Products: Jalupro,  Sunekos , Dermaheal

Polynucleotide (PN) : These fillers are made up of a substance that is similar to DNA, and are designed to stimulate collagen                        production and improve skin elasticity.

        Products: Lumi eyes

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy: This involves using the patient's own blood to create a concentrated serum of platelets and                   growth factors, which is then injected into the skin to promote collagen production and enhance skin quality.
